Home enthusiasts have a lot of amazing pieces in their homes. But no one can deny that every single person into home decorating would have even just a slight interest in oriental décor. You don’t really have to be Asian to appreciate those Japanese, Thai or Chinese designs. It’s just the fact that they are really very intriguing and bring a mound of Feng Shui into your home.
Oriental décor can come in many different pieces. They could be lamps, ornamental paintings, your backyard table or even just the simple table tops. They could be crafted into furniture and textiles and some decoration experts also include bamboos and orient leaves in their designs.
One of the most popular oriental décor favored by many home enthusiasts is the panel pieces that usually come in threes. These beautiful pieces of oriental decoration come from centuries of the traditional Asian people. The panels differ in the artwork per panel, as usually this is chosen by the home owner, and inspired by oriental décor experts. Most of the time, you would see gold, red and black in these panels.
Another popular oriental décor are the large-size fans. These fans were known to be used by traditional women, but since time passed, they have settled to be a very popular home décor. These fans are similar to the colors of the panels, but their artwork may differ. The artworks usually seen in fans revolve around traditional people wearing oriental clothes or even dragons blowing fire from its mouth whilst, panel decors are more into yin-yang artworks, koi fish and traditional sayings known to give luck.
Aside from the popular oriental decors, there are also minor details that add up to any oriental designs. To make your oriental home look complete, adding touches of minor oriental pieces can help brighten the room and bring good Feng Shui. Minor pieces include Chinese dragons, grand potted plants, koi fish aquariums, oriental room dividers and maybe even waterfall bowls. Oriental decorators use silk fabric in colors of ivory, red, jade and coral. This kind of fabric not only highlights your oriental pieces but looks great against the wooden furniture.
For those highly interested in giving your home an overall makeover, a lot of changes may have to be done but even with just a bit of these oriental decors can already spice up your home and bring good luck to your family.
