What’s Hot: Blake Lively

Posted by Biyachessa On November - 4 - 2009

Although I prefer Queen B over Queen S any day, I believe Queen S wins over this fashion contest.

If you had a face like Blake Lively, what would you do?

Damn this girl is super HOT just like this dress she wore in the 2009 Emmy Awards.

Gorgeous and elegant

The plunging neckline and the long braid at the back gives her one very classic but elegant look. The red Versace gown matched with Lorraine Schwartz accessories and Christian Louboutin heels gave one of our favorite Gossip Girl star the ultimate sizzling look.

Elegant, beauty, sexiness = Blake Lively

Maybelline: kaleidoscopic, funky dresses

Motel sells hot, flirtatious, kaleidoscopic dresses in a variety of sexy and foxy designs, printed jumpsuits, feisty tops, sassy pencil skirts and comfy knitwear. The brand is known for its gorgeous detailing, elegant designs and funky prints – just right for anyone who wants to be seen as a fashion icon. Their style isn’t simple. It’s rare and it’s cool. Motel is based in Bristol and has a price range of about £20 – £50 and their fashion style, is definitely worth it.

Motel also has quite a fan base with supermodels Gisele, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell, fashionista Peaches Geldoff and Fern Cotton and musicians such as Duffy, Robyn, Kate Nash, the Saturdays, Alexandra Burke, Bo Pepper, Diana Vickers, New Young Pony Club, Ida Maria and the Ting Tings.

This brand is definitely going a long way. I’m secretly hoping it’ll make a debut nearby soon as I am dying to get this dress:

One of my fave picks. What do you think?

It seemed every click I do on their website just makes me want to gape and wish there was a nearby store to buy from.

Well, the first time I looked at these clothes, I immediately couldn’t stop gaping. I mean the dresses are just so cute, so elegant and look so good that I thought their remixes of fabric and design are a genius idea. Seriously, their killer-dresses makes the dress I wore to the Aquaintance party like rag. Seriously. Here’s more gorgeous dresses from this  adorable hot line.

The Selina Dress

The Selina is an elegant two-toned mini-sleeveless-dress is extremely lovely with its simple upper part and stunning, striking stripes that would bring all attention to the waist. This dress would look classic at an elegant pool party or at a night out with friends at a bar. The Selina dress is one of Motel’s best sellers and true enough, it deserves to be.

Sharon Dress

The Sharon dress is a must-have for every bold, outgoing lady out there. This dress would be awesome for summer parties, swimming parties and just superb for a day out at the beach! The funky colors and crazy patterns elaborate the body and it’s short, slightly bubble skirt makes your legs look longer.

Patsy Dress

The Patsy Dress is one outstanding, elegant dress that would look sexy on curvy women. This gorgeous dress harnessed with a shining black center is the epitome of simplicity and elegancy. Fashion Funny: Bobby Trendy

Posted by Biyachessa On February - 1 - 2009

I’ve just had enough of this “train reality wreck” Bobby Trendy. I truly, truly respect his love of colors and all that, but too much is too much.
I really can’t understand his very weird, very out of this world fashion sense. Whether he’s trying to make us laugh, or trying to make a statement, I’m not sure. But in his fashion sense, we can all learn something.

LESSON # 1:
DO NOT USE NEON COLORS TOGETHER.

Yes, neon pink and neon pink DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, go together. That’s like clashing against the clashes!

LESSON # 2:
TOO MUCH SILK, RIBBONS AND WHATEVER IT IS THAT HE KEEPS HANGING FROM HIS SHOULDERS IS NOT GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH AND YOUR IMAGE.

Come on! Even weddings don’t use that much ribbon!

LESSON # 3:
USING STAR WARS AS YOUR THEME IS NOT A GOOD IDEA.

Promise. Please remember that.

LESSON # 4:
TOO MUCH JEWELRY WILL NOT HELP YOU.

Yes, too much glam glam, bling bling, big jewelry, big sparkling thingys. You’re not Edward Cullen, you can’t sparkle as well as he does.

LESSON # 5:
COWBOY BOOTS AND HATS ARE NEVER GOING TO BE IN.

Unless the red Indians come back and I will respect them if they do. But in the fashion world, nu-uh. No, no!

Well, for every downfall, there’s always a laugh. Whatever gets them to their 15 minutes of fame, right, Lauren?

Fashion Icon: Dakota Fanning

Posted by Biyachessa On February - 1 - 2009
FROM THIS:

TO THIS:

Aside from being the youngest star in demand out there, Dakota Fanning is also one hell of a teenage fashion icon.

She’s beautiful, cute as a button, a great actress and will probably be the most in demand actress above Angelina Jolie and Julia Roberts by the time she’s 18. She’s still got 3 years to grow and look at her! She’s bloomed into a sophisticated young lady about to make all other 15 year olds proud. With her 15 wins and 16 nominations, who could ask for more?
Check out this teen queen in her gorgeous, age-appropriate outfits:

With that big bright smile of hers, every outfit just glows!
We just hope for the best that she doesn’t ruin her good reputation with teenage crisis and identity whatever you call the phase (if it’s a phase) that LLohan and Mischa Barton went through.

We vote for ya Dakota!

Statement Jewelry: A New Era?

Posted by Biyachessa On January - 30 - 2009

It’s only natural that people nowadays love to wear statement jewelries. These statement jewelries come in big to small sizes, different kinds of shapes, circles, squares, triangles; some come in plain white colors, while some in rainbow colors; some are one layered while others have many layers, there are some that are glittery and sparkly while others are plain and dull.

Celebrities love them and models wear them. Fashion companies endorse them and jewelry shops are inspired even more to create them. What makes these statement jewelries so popular is that it can turn any ordinary outfits into an outfit that will match the mood of your choice.
Wear glittery statement jewelry in a party and turn your old dress into glitz and glamour. Try colorful statement jewelry with a plain white or black shirt and make dullness into coolness. Or you can wear a layered necklace with a simple tank top and attract attention to that sexy neck!

The point is, these gorgeous statement jewelries are not just a fashion phase but may actually be the start of a new era.
Having millions of clothes in your closet is not as essential anymore because these statement jewelries can already spike your ordinary sets of clothes into different outfits for your everyday!
